Platform module

Analytics & financial modelling

Capex, opex, margin and payback models for the site, kept next to the records your growers work from.

Overview

What this module does

Each site can carry a costed financial model: capital items, operating costs, an energy breakdown, labour and wastage, with a snapshot saved each time the assumptions change. It shows what drives the margin and the payback period before anyone commits money. The figures are models built from your assumptions, so set them against recorded harvests as cycles complete.

  • Monetary values held at fixed precision, not floating point
  • A snapshot kept each time the assumptions change
  • Critical changes recorded with who made them and when
  • No scheduled reports yet; a full export is produced on request
Capabilities

In detail

Energy in the model

Lighting and other energy loads sit in the model’s energy breakdown, so a change of tariff or photoperiod shows up in the projected margin.

Margin and payback

Annual projections of revenue after wastage, cost of goods, operating cost, EBITDA and net margin, with the payback period on the capital spent.

Capex and opex modelling

Capital items, operating costs, an energy breakdown, labour configuration and a wastage model held as a costed project for the site, with snapshots kept as the assumptions change.

Scenario comparison

Costed projects side by side, so the effect of a change in crop mix, labour model or energy assumption is a comparison rather than an argument.

Audit-ready records

Crop, harvest, storage and observation records to draw on when an auditor visits. Check what your certification scheme needs against what is recorded before you rely on it.

Recall readiness

Trace forward and backward through the lot links captured in the agreed workflow.

Next step

Model the economics of your own site

A 30-minute walkthrough against your zones, crops and sensors. No slides unless you ask for them.

  • Walkthrough led by someone who has built the system
  • We map your zones, crops and sensors before the call
  • Straight answers on what fits and what does not
