Farm design & capacity
The building, the racks and the equipment as a model you can plan capacity and cycles against.
1CoreWhat this module does
Map the farm, zones, racks, shelves and equipment before planning production. The layout provides the inputs for capacity calculations and helps the team assess proposed changes.
- Shelf configurations can be duplicated across matching zones instead of retyped
- Zone occupancy released at harvest and re-occupied on re-activation
- Capacity figures derive from the design, not a spreadsheet estimate
- Statistics available at farm, zone and group level under the same tenant scoping as everything else
In detail
Farm and layout model
Sites carry their dimensions, zones and layouts, so a zone is a described physical space rather than a label on a chart.
Rack and shelf design
Shelf count, orientation and layout per zone resolve to a growing-cell count, so tier capacity comes from the design rather than from memory.
Capacity calculation
Growing capacity computed per farm from the zone and shelf model, with a summary view across the site.
Scenario planning
Proposed changes run as a scenario against the current model, so the effect of adding a rack or re-spacing a crop can be seen before anything is moved.
Equipment register
Lighting, HVAC, irrigation and sensing equipment registered against the zone it serves, which is what lets a fault be attributed to the crops it affected.
Zone planning and occupancy
Which batch occupies which zone and when, with the environmental state of a planned zone held against the design it was planned from.
