A harvest number on its own tells you very little. Recorded against the recipe the batch ran and the conditions it grew in, it becomes the basis for the next plan and for a commitment your sales side can keep. Forward projections build on this record and are covered separately under forecasting.

Yield by batch, zone and cultivar with the loss reasons that explain the gap between planted and saleable.

Post-harvest

Storage location and temperature recorded after harvest, with losses in storage logged against their reasons.

Packing and destination

Packaging method, packed weight and destination recorded on the harvest, so what left the site can be tied back to the batch.

Lot traceability

Batch identity carried from the cultivation plan through harvest, storage and dispatch, so a lot traces forward to the order and backward to the zone it grew in.
